Troy-Bilt TB230 TriAction
Released May, 2011
The Cons:My mower has been running rich from day one. Is there an adjustment on the Carb to correct the situation. I'm having to clean the plug every other use. I love the unit otherwise.
The Troy-Bilt TB230 TriAction is a mid-range gas-powered push mower very similar to the Troy-Bilt TB210 TriAction. The main improvements that the TB230 offers over the TB210 are its 11" rear wheels (the TB210 sports more standard 8" wheels) and variable speed front wheel drive (as opposed to single speed).

Otherwise, the two mowers sport the same basic features, including: a 190cc Briggs & Stratton engine, a built-in deck wash system and a 2-year limited warranty.
The TB230's 11" rear wheels greatly improve its maneuverability over the TB210, even in rough or uneven environments. Its variable speed front wheel drive allows the TB230 to practically drive itself while squeeze-grip controls on the handle allow the user to set the maximum speed up to 3.5 mph. Meanwhile, the TB230's 190cc Briggs & Stratton engine sport ReadyStart technology, allowing it to start up without the need for priming or choking while lessening the risk of engine flooding.
