Stihl MSE 180 C-BQ

The Stihl MSE 180 C-BQ is a lightweight electric chainsaw. This is similar to the Stihl MSE 140 C-BQ, but uses a larger 1.8 kW motor for increased power, making it easier to cut through larger objects faster.

This chainsaw is designed for occasional use around the home, and uses a cord plugged into an AC outlet for power. The wide trigger switch is easy to work with, and the low 7.7 pound weight makes the chainsaw easier to maneuver. An automatic cut-off engages when the brushes become worn or when the unit is overheating, and a coast down brake also helps to slow the chain when necessary.
