One of the key features of this series is the 14" turning radius on all the tractors, a tight radius that allows you to make exact turns, thereby leaving less trimming for later. With the K46 HD hydrostatic transmission and Briggs and Stratton Extended Life Series V-Twin OHV engine, the LT200 lawn tractors drive like cars. The LT2044 has a 20 hp engine, which comes in the middle of the LT18538's 18.5 hp engine and the flagship LT2250's 22 hp engine. The 44" mowing deck of the LT2044 also comes in the middle of the series (which spans from 38" to 50"). The cast iron front axle on all the LT200s is pivoting, which helps with mowing uneven terrain and hills. This axle comes with a replaceable wear block, which means you can restore it to new condition after you have used it for a while.
