The Makita-built motor delivers 0-1,100 RPM and 0-4,000 BPM for faster drilling, and had a built-in torque limiter to disengage bit when hitting rebar. There are 3-modes of operation for rotation only, hammer with rotation and hammer only, with the chisel able to rotate 360° with 40 different positions. For comfortable operation, there is a soft grip handle and ergonomic large 2-finger trigger, and the built in L.E.D. light helps aluminate the work area. It is 14-1/8" long and weighs only 7.0 lbs making this easy to handle and reduces operator fatigue.
