John Deere X740

The John Deere X740 is one of four riding lawnmowers (X740, X744, X748, X749) released in December 2009. As the base unit, the X740 hosts a 24-hp, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder, Yanmar diesel engine featuring an internal hydraulic PTO with a multi-disk clutch pack for soft, smooth clutch engagement.

Furthermore, it relies on a heavy-duty welded frame that can support up to 168 lb. of added weight, including a variety of optional attachments for carrying/hauling material, gardening, snow removal, and lawn care. Signature to the John Deere X740 is its comfort/convenience factor, as it includes color-coded controls for easy unit operation; an integrated outlet for powering a cell phone or CD player; and a fully adjustable, 18” professional seat positioned behind the six-position tilt steering wheel.
