Just in case the system causes difficulty, a traditional recoil-rope system is included as backup. Like its immediate predecessor, the recoil-based JS36, the John Deere JS46 hosts a one-level, wheel-height adjustor system that changes the cutting height at the front and rear wheels for cuts from 1.2” to 4.2”. Also included is a 22” steel deck that can be used for discharging, mulching, bagging, or mowing via the included 3-in-1 blade.

#john_deere_js46 JS46 Shaft Bent poured oil out of the bottom of engine. What waste of $500. Lasted 1.5 years and by comparison, previously owned lasted 9 years with zero problems.

#john_deere_js46 This is the worst investment I have ever made. I've used a John Deere 14SZ for many years, and the JS46 doesn;t come close as far as ease of use, manuverabilit;y all around feel.
